Sticky keys in Windows are coming to Android

Android 14 QPR3 will not be released until June. However, thanks to the beta versions, we already know what the release will bring to the table. The second Android 14 QPR3 beta was released this week, and it has been learned that Windows’ annoying keyboard feature sticky keys is coming to Android.

How will sticky keys work on Android operating system?

Android researcher Mishaal Rahman detailed the many changes, both big and small, that come with the new version. Among these features, there is also support for sticky keys for physical keyboards.

With Android 14 QPR3, Google will increase support for external keyboards on smartphones, foldable devices and tablets. Future support includes accessibility-focused keyboard settings commonly seen on Windows devices to help those with physical disabilities.

Simply put, sticky keys allow users to access buttons without holding them down. Enabling sticky keys allows users to access frequently used modifier keys like Shift/Ctrl/Alt without having to press them simultaneously.
