Dusseldorf The Hamburg second division club FC St. Pauli is demanding more time for consultations on the planned deal between the German Football League (DFL) and financial investors. “We will submit a motion to postpone the vote on a share sale – at least until the ordinary general meeting in August. The DFL, which organizes the games in the first and second Bundesliga, invited the 36 professional clubs to vote on May 24th. The sales process that has started can only be continued with a two-thirds majority.
