Sony refused China’s Spider-Man request!

The Chinese government recently made an offer to Sony for the latest Spider-Man movie. According to the information shared, we see that this proposal has not been changed, that is, in the first version, some scenes of the movie were even requested to be removed. Here is the interesting request of China…

Netflix detonated the bomb for Spider-Man

Spider-Man: Far From Home, the penultimate movie in the Spider-Man franchise, is coming to Netflix at the end of April.

Sony refused China’s request to remove the Statue of Liberty from the Spider-Man movie!

The Chinese government does not allow many foreign productions to be broadcast directly in their country due to hostility to the USA. The legal releases, on the other hand, are a little different from what audiences around the world see.

According to the statements made, the USA uses Hollywood to impose its views and wishes on the whole world. For example, countries and nations with whom they are at odds are sometimes presented as terrorist, barbarian and backward.

Of course, although this thought is right up to a point, the wishes and demands of the Chinese government do not always make sense. Finally, Sony refused to have the Statue of Liberty removed from the Spider-Man movie.

Considering that all 3 Spider-Man fights on the Statue of Liberty, we can say that China’s request is not very acceptable. However, we see that they continue to be persistent despite being rejected.

The second offer made to Sony included removing the Statue of Liberty, which was shown to the audience at the end of the movie. When this offer was not accepted, it was suggested that they at least darken the whole statue or only its face, so that it would not be understood what was happening. But this was also rejected by Sony.

In other words, we see that China’s aim is to prevent everything related to US patriotism. However, they seem to have a hard time adjusting the dose of this job. Because he wanted the Bruce Lee scene to be removed from the movie Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. As a result, the screening of the film was cancelled.

In addition, China can change certain parts of the films by making some interesting experiments. For example, instead of the famous demolition scene at the end of Fight Club, they aired it using a different version of the government at its peak.

But let’s say that China is not alone in such actions. Although other countries have not taken such steps forward, they have made some changes. For example, Russia, South Korea and Ukraine released the movie Captain America: The First Avenger as The First Avenger.
