Schools Holiday in 16 Provinces Due to Snowfall




The cold weather wave, which continues its effect throughout Turkey, also brought snowfall in many provinces, the authorities announced that education was suspended in schools for precautionary purposes. Today, schools were closed in all or some of the 16 provinces.

Turkey has entered the spring season, leaving the winter months behind, and is still struggling with the cold weather as it approaches the end of March.   • Bingol: School holidays across the province.
  • Kastamonu: Schools are closed in Çatalzeytin, Bozkurt, Cide and Küre.
