Samsung Galaxy S23 series took the lead with Snapdragon!

We divide the smartphone market into iOS and Android. On the one hand, Apple’s iPhone models, on the other hand, there are devices from dozens of different manufacturers suitable for every budget. In the coming months, the Samsung Galaxy S23, powered by iOS 16 with its software, A15 processor with its hardware, and Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, which will rival the iPhone 14 series in efficiency and user experience, will be on sale.

Samsung Galaxy S23 series with Snapdragon processor is coming to destroy the Android perception!

For many years, Android smartphone manufacturers have lagged behind Apple in terms of consistent software, powerful hardware, high efficiency and long battery life. In this area, Pixel 6 and Pixel 7s with Google’s own Tensor processors were expected to dominate the market in a short time.

However, these Samsung-made chips fail users in terms of both performance and efficiency. Of course, this does not mean that Google has failed with Tensor processors. Because they are far from being equivalent to the A15-A16 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 1.

How will the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra be, which is one of the phones with high Megapixel sensors and ambitious cameras?

However, the Galaxy S23 series, which will use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, promises much more improvements than expected, although it has been months since its release. Moreover, we see significant increases not only in performance but also in efficiency. So much so that there are some who argue that it is excessively high because these results were obtained in synthetic tests.

Qualcomm, which switched to 8 Gen 1 and then 8 Gen 2 with an effective marketing tactic right after Snapdragon 888, seems to give what is expected this time. Although this processor will first be used in Vivo’s new smartphone, we know that Samsung will use a special version that is not very standard.

In the first test results, we saw that the Galaxy S23 series surpassed other Android models using Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 in single-core performance, but lagged behind in multi-core performance. The new results that emerged today say that it gives the best results in the Android world in both areas.

It is stated that Samsung offers 25 percent more performance in a single core and 45 percent more in a multi-core than its own Exynos 2200 processor used in the previous series. But this is not the real value that is surprising. At the same time, the S23 series is said to be 60 to 85 percent efficient compared to the S22 using Exynos.

Considering all these improvements, we can say that with Apple’s latest iPhone 14 models, it will be the first Android device to offer similar performance in a single core and above it in a multi-core. Of course, the A16s used in the Pro series will still continue to be the most powerful processors in the market. However, we see that the gap between the two is closed to a great extent.
