Rostock: Asylum center employee in clinic after knife attack | Regional

Rostock – Brutal attack in the Rostock-Schmarl initial reception center on Industriestrasse: A Tunisian (23), who was apparently drunk, attacked an employee there in the evening. The refugee helper was seriously injured in the neck.

The suspect had taken drugs again in the asylum home after 8 p.m. on Sunday. An employee, who according to BILD information is said to be 20 years old, then wanted to throw the Tunisian out. But he did not accept the “temporary reprimand”.

A police spokesman: “When the employee wanted to enforce the house rules against the perpetrator, there was a sudden attack with a knife. The injured employee suffered a cut injury to his neck.”

The employee was taken to the clinic with serious injuries: “There are currently none Danger to life,” the police spokesman continued.

The attacker fled after the crime. The police used search dogs and helicopters and was able to track down and arrest the Tunisian.
