One of the most important performance criteria for flagship smartphone models is Antutu scores. In this sense, Red Magic 9 Pro became the new record holder with its Antutu score. Thus, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, which lost its throne to the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 processor, took back the leadership. Here is Nubia Red Magic 9 Pro and its Antutu score.
Red Magic 9 Pro became the second model to pass the 2 million mark with its Antutu score
Nubia, a sub-brand of ZTE and known for its gaming phones, broke the score record in Antutu with Red Magic 9 Pro. The model, which is one of the first phones to use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, will be available on November 23, that is, two days later.
Previously, the Oppo Find X7 model received 2 million 270 thousand 677 points with its Dimensity 9300 processor. With this score, the 2 million threshold was passed for the first time in the Antutu score list. Previously, test models using Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 were just below the 2 million limit.
Nubia Red Magic 9 Pro score is 2 million 290 thousand 773. As you noticed, Red Magic 9 Pro came out on top with a very small difference. Of course, it is normal for gaming phones to score higher with both cooling advantages and high RAM. However, such a small difference reveals the performance difference of the Dimensity 9300 processor.
As you know, the processor has 4 high-performance Cortex-X4 cores. The other four cores are performance-oriented Cortex-A720. In this sense, the processor does not include the core structure used in low-level processes.
Nubia Red Magic 9 Pro features
The features of Red Magic 9 Pro, which broke the Antutu record, were also recently revealed. Red Magic Pro 9 will feature Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. Qualcomm continues to cooperate with TSMC for its new chip introduced last month. The processor, produced with 4 nm technology, has 1 3.3 GHz ARM Cortex-X4, 3 3.2 GHz ARM Cortex-A720, 2 3.0 GHz ARM Cortex-A720 and 2 2.3 GHz ARM Cortex-A520 cores. The company includes the Adreno 750 graphics unit with Ray Tracing support in its new chip.
The smartphone will feature a 50 Megapixel Samsung GN5 main camera with 1/1.57 sensor size and OIS support. Moreover, the 50 Megapixel Samsung JN1 ultra wide-angle lens will also be available on the device. Finally, it is expected that the device, which will come out of the box with the Android 14-based Red Magic UI interface, will have an under-screen selfie camera.
