Sony introduced its feature that will allow you to play PlayStation 5 games over the cloud. With this feature, which will be offered to PlayStation Plus subscribers, it will be possible to play games at up to 4K resolution. Since cloud-based services are not available in Turkey, users in our country will not be able to benefit from the innovation.
Sony has been testing a new cloud feature for the PlayStation Plus subscription system for a while. The feature, which will only be available to Premium subscribers, allows users to play PlayStation 5 games. play on the cloud would allow. We have seen the cloud feature in PS4 games before.
The technology giant announced that the feature will be generally available today. Exclusive cloud support for PS5 games will soon be available to PS Plus subscribers.
It will be possible to play many PS5 games in 4K resolution over the cloud
As we said at the beginning, this feature will only come to members of the highest subscription Premium. Users can play PS5 games with cloud support. 720p to 4K resolution will be able to play over the cloud. So, with the help of this feature, the need to download to the console will be eliminated.
Cloud support will be rolling out in different regions throughout this month. PS Plus subscribers in Japan on October 17, Europe on October 23, and North America on October 30 will be able to access this feature. Additionally, Sony says that it can only be used on PlayStation 5 at first. The word “first” here signals that this support may come to other devices in the future.
Let’s say that some games that will be included in the feature have also been announced. Among these Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Horizon Forbidden West and Ghost of Tsushima Popular PS5 games such as will be included. Trial versions of games such as Hogwarts Legacy, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and The Callisto Protocol will also be added. Although Sony says that “select games” will have cloud support for now, “hundreds of” PS5 states that the game will be added.
Unfortunately, cloud support will not come to Turkey
Premium subscription is not available in our country. Instead, Sony offers a subscription called Deluxe as the top tier. Unfortunately, this subscription does not include current cloud-based features. For this reason, we will not see cloud support for PS5 games in Turkey.
