Web3 infrastructure developer and cryptocurrency investor Jump Crypto today announced its new Solana partnership.
In the statement, Jump Crypto announced a new release for Solana. validator client was stated to be formed.
The main goal of this move is to increase the scalability and reliability of the Solana network, which has caused a great loss of trust with the recent interruptions.
Verifiers play a critical role in POS systems like Solana. While transactions are confirmed by these validators, these validators provide security against possible attacks.
The larger the number of validators, the harder it is for inside players to coordinate an attack.
Unlike the client created by Jump Crypto Solana, it aims to create a second and new open source validator client that uses the C++ programming language. The team will also propose some upgrades to Solana’s open source core software.
Solana Co-Founder Anatoly Yakavenko said the following about the Jump Crypto partnership:
