According to the latest information, the Norwegian company Torghatten Nord has officially decided to establish a hydrogen ship fleet. The fleet, which is said to consist of 120 full capacity ships, is expected to host the world’s largest hydrogen fueled ships.

The ships, which are said to be produced from very strong and durable materials to be able to fight in Norway’s difficult seas, are expected to be an important example for other companies in the sector. Making such an initiative in a country where hydrogen-fueled passenger transportation is relatively rare was described as a very brave decision. It is also underlined that the route the ships will use will be 278 kilometers long on average.
