Visa has announced that it will launch a crypto advisory service for its institutional clients to expand its crypto-focused services.
In the statement made by Visa, the newly launched crypto advisory service will be located in the consultancy and analytics division.
The crypto advisory group will assist financial institutions, retail giants and other businesses with their crypto ventures in everything from launching cryptocurrencies, exploring popular NFTs, and developing a wallet for the central bank.
Citing a recent survey result, Visa said in a statement that “40% of crypto investors surveyed say they intend to switch their parent bank to a bank that offers crypto-focused products within the next year.” said.
Cuy Sheffield, head of cryptocurrencies at Visa, stated that crypto is a huge growth opportunity for them, saying:
“We think it’s a critical role for Visa to play in helping to be this bridge between banks and the crypto ecosystem. Every bank should have a crypto strategy.”
Payment giant Visa is trying to become a leading payment processor in the crypto market with the steps it has taken in the crypto space.
