Paolo Ardoino, who has been working as CTO for a long time at Tether, was appointed as the new CEO of the company.
According to the statement made by Tether, the current CEO of the company, Jean-Louis van der Velde, will serve as an advisor and Ardoino will assume the position of CEO in December.
Velde will continue to work as CEO at Bitfinex, Tether’s sister company. Similarly, Ardoino will continue his role as CTO at Bitfinex.
