In his post, Yerlikaya announced that a total of 807 drivers were detected until January 26 and the radars on these drivers’ vehicles were removed. Apart from this, these drivers have a total of 5 million 196 thousand TL He also stated that a fine was imposed.
His full statement is as follows:
Our inspections will continue uninterruptedly against drivers who use devices with illuminated or audible warning signs on vehicles that are not permitted by legislation (Flashing Lights) or who violate the Safety Lane.
“In the inspections carried out by 81 provincial Traffic Inspection Branch Directorates, under the coordination of the Traffic Directorate of the General Directorate of Security, between 01-26 January 2024, against people who “use devices with light or sound warning signs by installing them on vehicles that are not allowed in the legislation”;
807 drivers were identified and the devices with light and sound warning signs (strobe lights) were removed from their vehicles,
A fine of 5 million 196 thousand TL was imposed.
