Microsoft and Activision Agreement
Microsoft, which has been trying to buy Activision for a while, still hasn’t been able to do this for a number of reasons. The source of these reasons is neither Microsoft nor Activision, the main reason is the Call of Duty brand and Sony. As it is known, Sony is one of the leaders in console sales today. Likewise, the sales figures of the CoD series on consoles surpass many other games. Sony has a fear at this point. This means that if Microsoft buys Activision, we may not be able to see Call of Duty games on the PlayStation platform.
Even if Microsoft makes statements that will reduce concerns for the PlayStation side, Sony wants the deal not to be made. If Microsoft can buy Activision despite all these obstacles, we will be able to see Call of Duty games on Nintendo.

Phil Spencer, the head of the Xbox brand, shared on Twitter in addition to his commitment to bring CoD games to both the Nintendo platform and Steam. In the shared tweet, he stated that he would like to offer the Call of Duty series to other platforms at the same time as Xbox, after the Activison agreement, as long as there is no legal problem with the contract.
When will the Call of Duty series come to Nintendo consoles?
Although there is no clear answer to this question, we can expect to see the new games of the series on Nintendo consoles and Steam platform for the next 10 years, together with the Call of Duty, which is expected to be announced next year, with the shares and agreements made. At the same time, according to Microsoft’s statements, the new CoD game will take place on Xbox, PC and PlayStation consoles, as it has so far.
