Microsoft Edge is getting Live Translation feature for videos!

When watching a video in a foreign language over the internet, it can sometimes be difficult to understand what is being said. Fortunately, the new feature of Microsoft Edge will make things easier for everyone, especially those who are trying to learn a foreign language online.

According to Windows Central’s report Microsoft Edge‘to YouTube Live translation feature is coming to the platform. This feature, noticed by some users, instantly translates the spoken words and displays them as text while the video is playing.

This feature currently only supports English, French, Spanish and Russian languages. In other words, it is possible to translate what is said in the video into these languages. To activate this feature, it is sufficient to choose the language from a drop-down menu containing language options that appears while the video is playing, according to the information shared by test users.

There is no clear information yet about whether this feature is only available on YouTube or on other platforms. At this point, users’ wishes are in favor of the second option.

It is currently unknown when the Live Translation feature for Microsoft Edge will be available. But forecasts point to the coming weeks. All in all, it looks like there’s nothing to do right now but wait.
