Berlin, Dusseldorf The insolvency of the Oldenburg lighting specialist Deutsche Lichtmiete AG takes a new turn. In an unusual step, long-standing CEO Alexander Hahn has withdrawn his bankruptcy filings. The preliminary insolvency administrator Rüdiger Weiß confirmed this on Tuesday. The court informed him “that there are withdrawals of applications in all proceedings.”

When asked, Alexander Hahn said through his lawyer that creditors are supporting him in his actions. Those investors who would guarantee solvency would also come from this circle. A new board would also be ready: The Hamburg entrepreneur Thomas Rogalla is to lead Lichtmiete AG and the business of all operating companies.

In order to improve “a few things” with the light rental, Alexander Hahn also brought in professional support from lawyers, auditors and insolvency consultants, according to Hahn’s lawyer Björn Gercke.
