Jackal SİHA now fires missiles!

Defense Industry investments and the number of companies that make world-class production in our country are increasing day by day. JACKAL UAV, which was developed in Gebze Technical University DronePark in April last year and exported to England, has received a new weapon system today. He can now fire missiles. Here are the Jackal SİHA and its new features…

The renewed Jackal AUAV is now hunting drones!

Defense industry cooperation between Türkiye and England continues in many areas. This situation opens the door to many opportunities for the private sector. Accordingly, within the framework of the agreement between Fly Bvlos Technology and British Flyby Technology, a total of 50 JACKAL UAVs were exported to the UK and delivery began.

However, the company was not satisfied with this and developed the technology in hand. Jackal UAV, in the form of an unmanned mini-helicopter, can transform into a UAV and fire missiles, thus becoming effective against many threats from UAV to helicopters.

Hürjet made its first flight side by side with the F-16: Those are the moments!

Hürjet, Turkey’s first jet-powered aircraft developed for training and close air support, completed its first flight test.

When we look at the technical features of JACKAL, we see that it has 8 propellers that enable vertical take-off and landing. These are positioned in 2 at the 4 corners of the vehicle. After landing and take-off, it has 4 turbine engines so that it can move horizontally, as in airplanes.

When we look at the features shared last year, we see that this SİHA has a range of approximately 130 kilometers. The maximum load carrying capacity was 15 kg. However, with structural changes, two LMM Shooter Systems were integrated into the fuselage of the aircraft, increasing the carrying capacity 2+ times.

The additional load that one LMM brings to the system is 13 kg anyway. It is stated that tests have been carried out with this missile, which has a length of 1.3 m and a range of up to 6 km, since last October, and the export to the UK took place after it received full marks from the engineer team participating in the tests.
