Is Prigozhin safe in Belarus? “As a KGB man, Putin will take revenge”

Berlin Mr. Slunkin, a plane belonging to Wagner boss Yevgeny Prigozhin is said to have landed in Belarus today. How will his stay there affect the country?

The fact that Prigozhin traveled to Belarus does not mean that he will stay there permanently. We are still missing the core piece of this puzzle, namely what exactly happened over the weekend. What exactly was offered to Prigozhin to call his troops back just before Moscow? Prigozhin now looks like the loser. This means that you must have offered him something significant in return.

In 2014, Slunkin was involved in negotiating the Minsk Accords aimed at ending the war in eastern Ukraine. In 2020, Slunkin resigned from his post as a diplomat in protest at the rigged elections in Belarus and has been living in exile in Poland ever since.
