Is it worth getting started now?

Microsoft is the most valuable company in the world. Compared to the same period in the previous year, the hardware and software developer was able to increase its sales by 22 percent. And that’s not surprising: since the 1990s, the company has been able to expand its business model with the Xbox game console, the LinkedIn job network, Nokia’s mobile phone division, the Skype messenger service and the Nuance voice recognition software, among other things. Silicon Valley correspondent Kevin Knitterscheid knows how this mixture has made the group the stock market champion and whether an investment could still be worthwhile now.

In addition: the tech giant Amazon brought investors at least 40 percent return every year between 2015 and 2020. The course has recently stagnated – there have even been losses since Jeff Bezos switched to Andy Jassy. Handelsblatt New York correspondent Katharina Kort explains whether this could now be an opportunity to enter the stock.
