Intel Core i9-13900K once again broke the overclocking record!

Research on processors, their working clock frequencies and the highest levels they can reach has been on the radar of hardware lovers for a long time. As of today, the Intel i9-13900K, which managed to seize the title of the world’s fastest processor by first reaching 8 GHz and then 8.80 GHz, has left a new threshold behind.

The Intel i9-13900K broke its own overclocking record of 9,008 GHz!

Intel introduced the 13th Generation Intel Core processor family, especially the Core i9-13900K, the fastest desktop processor in the world, at the event it held last September. This new series includes multiple desktop processors with blazing clock speeds of up to 24 cores and 32 threads and up to 5.8 GHz for the best gaming, streaming and recording experience.

Undoubtedly, the most popular among them is the Intel i9-13900K, which has broken its own overclocking record by reaching an operating clock frequency above 9 GHz as of today. This processor, which works at 3 GHz under normal conditions, can easily reach 5.8 GHz during use.

Jon Sanström and Pieter Plaisie were able to push this processor up to 8.8 GHz when they put this processor in the overclocking test. Today, they shared that they pushed the processor to exceed all limits at -269 degrees, probably using all the liquid helium they had, and reached 9.08 GHz.
