What is OGEM?
The number of state-sponsored game and software development centers in the world is increasing. By establishing OGEM, a similar institution in Istanbul, IMM aims to support young software developers and help them develop and market their games.
At the same time, those whose applications are accepted are provided with support for office spaces and various equipment. In addition to this, IMM also offers some training programs within the body of OGEM through various contracted institutions.
What does OGEM offer?
- Design and Strategy: Support is provided with basic and advanced training and expert names on game design and publishing strategy.
- A to Z development: A to Z game development support is provided by providing the equipment needed for game development to the developer teams.
- Marketing and Communication: It is ensured that the games are presented to the whole world by bringing the developers together with the experts in communication studies that will enable the games to be published and brought together with the target audience.
- Office Spaces: Office spaces included in the ecosystem are offered for game developer teams from Istanbul.
- Events: Gamjam, mentor meetings and hackathon events will be organized within the business network.
- Equipment: Special game development equipment such as MoCap, which is difficult to reach in Turkey, is provided to game developers.
OGEM participation conditions
- Participants can join as a team or as individuals.
- Applications can be made to the competition as any type of game.
- Participants; Files such as team information, game information and game documents will be requested later.
- Participants must already apply with a game. Evaluations will be evaluated as 50-50 based on the game and the team.
- Participants are required to have at least one game prototype in advance.
