Twitter CEO: “The platform had its biggest use day in five months”
Meta, the umbrella company of Instagram, Facebook and WhatsApp, has released the Threads platform as a rival of Twitter. As such, many people, tired of Twitter’s fluctuating process, flocked to the platform.
So much so that Threads broke a record by reaching more than 100 million users in a short time like 5 days. According to Cloudflare charts, this negatively impacted Twitter interactions. But Twitter CEO Linda Yaccarino disagrees.
Linda Yaccarino said that they recently had the biggest day of use in the last 5 months. But Twitter traffic has dropped 5 percent within two days of Threads posting, according to the charts. Here is the tweet of Twitter CEO;

On top of that, Elon Musk gave a clear answer to the expression “use day”. Musk pointed to screen time and used the following statements;
As reported by iOS and Android, the cumulative user-seconds per day of phone screen time is the hardest to play. I think we can break the all-time record this week.
Before Threads, ChatGPT was the fastest platform to reach 100 million users.
