The e-commerce law approved by the Turkish Grand National Assembly in the past months has been published in the Official Gazette!

In addition, there are some age restrictions. For example, people with a disability between 40 and 89 percent must be over the age of 18 to use the vehicles they buy themselves. There is no age restriction for people with a disability of 90 percent or more, and they can also appoint people of their choice to use this vehicle.

In other words, if a person with a disability over 90 percent is under the age of 18 or is unable to drive, they can grant the right to use this vehicle to their family members. In addition, these persons appointed by him can also make the purchase of the vehicle instead of himself.

An important point to be mentioned here is the time limit on purchased vehicles. Vehicles purchased by disabled individuals with SCT exemption cannot be sold or transferred to another person for 5 years. At the same time, a second vehicle cannot be purchased with SCT exemption within this 5-year period. If the curtain rises only due to an accident or natural disaster and is banned from traffic, there is no waiting period of 5 years.

  • The report must contain the words “Can drive an automatic transmission vehicle” or “Cannot drive an automatic transmission vehicle”

  • Disability report of 90 percent or more
  • The statement “Can drive vehicles with SCT exemption” should be included on the report.
  • There is no 18 age limit in cases of 90 percent or more disability.
