HAVELSAN bought 49 percent of Asisguard!
HAVELSAN, which is among the domestic companies of the defense industry sector, is on its way to becoming a full defense industry holding. Asisguard will now appear among the companies within its structure and serving in different fields. HAVELSAN stated in its share yesterday that it has purchased 49 percent of Asisguard’s shares.
With this partnership, HAVELSAN seems to continue its projects such as optical vision, military vehicle radios and border security systems through Asisguard. In this way, HAVELSAN production sites will now be used for even larger projects. In addition, with the partnership with Asisguard, the experiences of a company that focuses directly on such security systems will be combined with the experiences of HAVELSAN.
In addition, Asisguard has the title of being the company that developed SONGAR, Turkey’s first domestic and national armed drone system. Also on the subject, HAVELSAN General Manager and Board Member Mehmet Akif Nacar stated that both companies have achieved a good synergy in some projects for a while, and thus the end of the business has been tied to a good partnership agreement.
