Dusseldorf, Berlin Vladimir Putin was able to get his luxury yacht to safety. The 80-meter boat of the Russian President, named “Graceful”, left the Blohm & Voss building docks early on February 7 and is now anchored in the Russian Baltic Sea port of Kaliningrad.
Oligarchs from his environment were not so careful: The authorities in Hamburg now want to confiscate three mega yachts that are also being overhauled by Blohm + Voss, as reported by circles familiar with the processes to the Handelsblatt on Thursday. These are the “Luna”, the “Dilbar” and “Solandge”. The “Luna” is said to have already been confiscated.
According to a report by the US magazine “Forbes”, work on the 156-meter-long mega yacht “Dilbar” belonging to the Russian billionaire Alisher Usmanov was already stopped on Wednesday. The ship has been revised at Blohm & Voss since October. Work on the other two yachts was also stopped, said a person from the shipyard industry.
