New innovations create new unicorns – successful startups. Germany now needs the right strategies for this.
In the current double crisis of corona pandemic and Ukraine war, Germany’s company headquarters are not dominated by a spirit of optimism, but by rigid tolerance: while companies in the USA and China massively increased their spending on research and development in the first corona year of 2020, German industry invested 6.3 percent less. This is confirmed by the latest figures from the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).
