Automotive companies around the world are accelerating the electric transformation process. Many also leave their old model names behind as they enter this new field. Accordingly, Ford Focus and Fiesta models are also being discontinued. Here is the history…
Ford Fiesta will go out of sale in 2023, Focus in 2025!
Ford, one of the best-selling automobile brands in Turkey and Europe, wants to make a fresh start by turning a clean slate to itself in the electric world. Although they are among the most popular passenger car models, the Ford Fiesta will be discontinued in 2023 and the Focus in 2025.
Ford says that they have lagged behind on the design side for the last 4-5 years and they will start a new adventure by putting an end to boring designs as of 2023. Therefore, models such as Fiesta and Focus are also in the first place on the list of destinations.
Of course, they also state that they can try to put the electric model of Focus on sale and remove it depending on the situation. However, the desire to develop a common platform with other brands, especially Volkswagen, and to turn to new vehicles is quite high.
