For Katharina Jiinger it was clear early on that she wanted to run her own company one day. At 24, with her degree in technology management under her belt, she founded Teleclinic, a platform on which she facilitated video consultations between patients and specialists.
Having grown up in a family of doctors, the Freiburg native pursued the vision of no longer putting people in crowded waiting rooms, but instead giving advice in front of the screen. At a time when this was not even legally possible.
The fact that she first had to create the right legal basis for her business idea spurred her on: “I believe that innovation and changes in the law often only happen if someone works on them and the need is seen as a result.”
