dogecoin founder Billy Markus attracted attention by organizing a petition to add the feature of tipping users to Twitter with DOGE.

The DOGE community has argued that Dogecoin is the altcoin with the lowest transaction fee among major cryptocurrencies, and so it can be an excellent tool for sending tips.
Last May, Twitter launched the tip application, which allows users to send money to each other. With the application, it was aimed to support content producers.
Initially, traditional payment solutions such as PayPal, Venmo, and Block’s Cash App were included as payment options in the app. Towards the end of September, Twitter added Bitcoin to its supported payment methods and made it possible to send tips via the Lightning network.
Twitter, which also allows NFT profile pictures in January, recently announced that Ethereum was added to its tip payment options earlier this week.
The Dogecoin founder is very determined to include DOGE among the tip options on Twitter. Markus said he would tweet about the issue every day.
