Returning to his role as Wolverine, Hugh Jackman sheds light on the relationship between Deadpool and Wolverine. According to Jackman, the two won’t get along very well.

Marvel lovers finally got the news they were waiting for with the surprise announcement shared by Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman in the past weeks. Hugh Jackman is officially returning to the role of Wolverine in Deadpool 3.

But this news also created some question marks in the minds. How Logan would come back and how his relationship with Deadpool would be was at the top of the questions. Today, important answers to these questions have been given.

Hugh Jackman: Wolverine hates Deadpool!

Hugh Jackman, who participated in The Empire Film Podcast, talked about the relationship between Deadpool and Wolverine. Jackman shared that Wolverine hates Deadpool:

“How do I categorize (relationship)? 10 very close, 0 real. We are zero, opposite, we hate each other. Logan is fed up with him, wanting to be a million miles away from him or punch him in the head. Unfortunately he can’t be a million miles away in this movie, so I’m probably going to punch him in the head a lot.”

We learned about the relationship between Deadpool and Wolverine, but how will these two come together? Isn’t Wolverine dead?

Yes, we said goodbye to Wolverine and Hugh Jackman with the movie Logan. But Jackman shed some light on this question the other day. Joining The Jess Cagle Show, Jackman’s answer was ‘science’ in a nutshell:

“It’s all thanks to this device that they have in the Marvel world, flipping through timelines. Now we can go back because, you know, this is science. So I don’t have to mess with the Logan timeline, which is important to me and possibly to the fans.”

deadpool 3, on 8 November 2024 will be screened.
