At the age of 15, candidate Helena Berlinghof not only plays the piano wonderfully. The student from Schifferstadt has even composed several pieces. On Saturday evening she showed a taste of her skills and was celebrated like a star.
Although Helena has been playing the piano since she was nine, she has had little stage experience so far. Before her performance, the young artist said: “I only played something at school, but nowhere else.”
In the case of “Supertalent” she hoped very modestly: “Maybe one or the other person will like it.” The jury announced that the Rhineland-Palatinate woman would have composed a song herself. Everyone was flabbergasted.

During Helena’s lecture you could have heard a pin drop, her audience listened so devoutly to the candidate’s soulful piano play. Juror Chantal Janzen (42) enjoyed the performance with her eyes closed.
The Ehrlich Brothers sometimes left their mouths open. The entire jury and the audience gave a standing ovation for Helena’s performance.
Chantal Janzen wanted to know from the 15-year-old how long it would take her to compose a piece. The ninth grader said: “I don’t plan anything, just go ahead and play. It takes me about an hour until I’m completely finished. ”About 23 songs have been written in this way so far. None of them have a title.

Particularly amazing: Helena doesn’t even write down the notes, has everything saved in her head, as she also revealed. Michael Michalsky (54): “For you, the show would have to be renamed from ‘Supertalent’ to ‘Mega-Mega-Supertalent’.”
With a four-fold YES, Helena then made it into the decision and was even sent to the semifinals at the end of the show.
