3 of the 5 suspects who made a profit of 10 million TL by defrauding the public in Zonguldak with the promise of crypto money were arrested.
Provincial Police Department Anti-Cyber Crimes Branch Directorate teams, 10 million 800 thousand TL for 35 people organized the “Broken Chain” operation against the fraudulent cryptocurrency gang.
Five suspicious people who targeted citizens from different income groups were detained in the operation carried out in Bursa.
The teams searched the suspects’ houses and vehicles during simultaneous raids at night. Luxury vehicles, cash and gold seized during the searches were confiscated.
While MUÖ and H.Ö, the suspects who were referred to Zonguldak Courthouse on 26 November, were released, ECO, O.Ö and BSY were arrested and sent to prison.
