Frankfurt, Dusseldorf There is apparently still a certain degree of consistency in the stocks, which have recently fluctuated extremely in price: According to experts, investors can look forward to new records in dividend payments.
The British fund house Janus Henderson expects distributions to shareholders in 2022 to increase by 5.7 percent worldwide, adjusted for special dividends and headwinds from a stronger dollar. The sum is at a new high with a total of 1.52 trillion US dollars, the asset managers calculate in a study available to the Handelsblatt. Strategists are also much more optimistic for large German companies after a weak year for dividends.
One important addition, however, is that possible consequences of Russia’s attack on Ukraine are not yet included in the regular evaluation.
