According to Google’s statement, this update fixes security errors in different areas. The most critical vulnerability (CVE-2024-4058), happened in the ANGLE library used for OpenGL. Google also said that it gave a reward of 16 thousand dollars to the researcher who reported the bug.
On the other hand, it was stated that two high severity issues, namely CVE-2024-4059 and CVE-2024-4060, were also resolved. The latest stable update released by Google allows these errors to be closed.
Google also said it continues to investigate issues in Chrome through auditing, fuzzing, and various other initiatives. Although he said some bugs affected certain users, he stated that the four vulnerabilities did not endanger any users.
