The company, which carries out joint studies with suppliers on this subject, will request various reports from its stakeholders. Apple, which will monitor the annual progress of its suppliers towards becoming carbon neutral, will continue to work only with companies that are successful in this regard.
Which model will Apple highlight in the iPhone 15 series?
Apple’s claim that it will bring the Ultra model instead of the standard model in the iPhone 15 series has been on the agenda.
Apple will also train its suppliers and local partners on renewable energy and carbon neutrality efforts. According to the statement, more than 150 representatives from suppliers participated in the trainings held during 2022 alone. Apple also plans to create a free public education platform on green energy with these trainings.
In addition to all this, Apple continues to work on the construction of large-scale solar and wind projects across Europe. The technology giant plans to implement renewable power plants producing between 30 and 300 megawatts in the next few years.
