The marriage share in the Bundestag

The German Bundestag currently has 736 members. At 34.8%, the proportion of women is the second highest in the history of the Federal Republic. Only after the 2013 election was it higher (36.5%).

Official figures on the living conditions of the newly elected parliamentarians are not yet available. At the beginning of the last electoral term, the proportion of married MPs with children was at least 50.8%.
