Berlin Bitter defeat for Sabine Buder: After the trio of men who applied for the federal chairmanship of the CDU after the election debacle, a woman wanted to run for office with her. Sabine Buder from Brandenburg, who despite being defeated in the federal elections, had got the best result of the CDU direct candidates in the Mark, wanted to become the federal chairman of the CDU. But their plan failed.
In an extraordinary meeting, the CDU district executive in Märkisch-Oderland rejected a nomination on Tuesday evening. Seven no votes were opposed to only four yes votes (and two abstentions).
