Last month, automobile sales in our country decreased by almost half and fell to the level of 40 thousand. This problem causes zero mileage and not being able to find some used cars, or a waiting period of up to three months when you buy a vehicle.
The main reason for this situation is the chip crisis that has been experienced since the beginning of 2020. However, the number of traders who turned this into an opportunity and tried to make a profit increased gradually. In fact, it is said that some dealers group among themselves and buy them collectively when new cars are in stock. Then it sells it like zero km by putting at least 30-40 thousand TL of profit on it.
While this situation causes the price difference between the dealers and the galleries to widen, it causes the new and second-hand prices of that car to increase with a great acceleration, since there is no stock left in the manufacturers’ stores. But according to the information received, brands are aware of the situation. In addition, they plan to prevent sales by adding these galleries to the black list they have created.
Blacklist app came in 2013!
The fleet car rental industry had major problems with thefts from 2013 to 2014. After this situation, the blacklist application emerged. Then, in suspicious cases, companies tried to prevent thefts by making inquiries on the system.
But some gallerists manage to stay out of this black list. For example, it turned out that some people bought 3 cars from different branches within six months and then sold them by putting their profits on it. In order to do this, it was seen that they took the cars on themselves or other family members, not their companies.
Of course, according to the law, it is not possible for an automotive company to refuse people who want to enter the door and make a purchase. However, since they currently do not have stock, the black list application has a very important place in terms of giving priority to the individual buyer instead of the gallery in future vehicles.
