Apple, which did not make a major hardware update on its iPad models in 2023 and therefore experienced a decrease in sales, aims to attract attention by taking innovative steps this year. The event will start at 17:00 Türkiye time and new generation iPads and accessories will be introduced.
One of the prominent products at the event will be the new generation iPad Pro models. Apple will introduce the first iPad Pros with OLED screens in 12.9 inch and 11 inch sizes. OLED technology is capable of displaying dark colors more effectively with better brightness and contrast. In addition, it is stated that the new models come with up to 20 percent thinner designs and will not negatively affect the user experience thanks to the energy efficiency of OLED screens.
Another expectation is that Apple may introduce the M4 processor in the new generation iPad Pro at this event. This new chip, which will focus on artificial intelligence technologies, can provide significant performance improvements in Pro models. However, the more likely scenario is to use the M3 chip. In addition, in the new iPad Pro models, the front camera is expected to be moved to the long side of the device to make it more useful.
A 12.9-inch iPad Air model is also rumored. This model may inherit the mini-LED technology used by the Pro series, or it may continue to come with LCD screens as a more economical alternative. In addition, the new iPad Air series will be offered to users in various color options.
