Are too many investors into big tech?

Frankfurt Nvidia, Meta, Microsoft, Alphabet, Amazon, Apple – the big US tech stocks are driving US stock markets this year and everyone wants to be there. However, this entails dangers. That’s according to Bank of America’s widely acclaimed monthly survey of international portfolio managers.

55 percent of those surveyed, and thus as many as three years ago, believe that “Big Tech” is the segment in which most investors are bustling about. In technical terms, this is called “most crowded trade”. This could become a problem if the mood changes. At overcrowded events, things get tight when everyone wants to go out at the same time.
