Munich Allianz is setting up new rules for working for its around 19,000 employees in Germany in the period after the corona pandemic. Under the title “New work for the companies in the Allianz Germany group”, the group has stipulated, among other things, that employees must come to the office at least four days a month in future. They can also work abroad for up to 25 days a year.

“Corona has shown what is possible in the field of mobile working,” says Ulrike Zeiler, Chief Human Resources Officer at Allianz Versicherungs-AG. But that also means that management has to function virtually.

At Allianz, more than 90 percent of the workforce was working from home shortly after the outbreak of the pandemic.
