Dusseldorf The Dax has risen by almost ten percent within a month. The German leading index has now moved more than 1000 points from its low for the year at the beginning of July. So is the worst over on the German stock exchange? An important group of investors is obviously skeptical: hedge funds, so-called short sellers.
This is the result of an exclusive evaluation by the Handelsblatt of Federal Gazette data, where the unregulated investment funds have to report their bets on falling prices from a certain size: These bets, which can also be used to hedge against price risks, are still above average on the German market.
