The user, who said that he was reached from a landline number one evening last week, stated that people who said his name and surname wanted their information on the pretext that “an update will be made”. The user, who sent the confirmation code received on his phone to the other party, was actually the victim of both a professional fraud attempt and a lack of information in the system.
The user saw that he received information about 4 different transactions from the bank in the following hours. These transactions were money transfer transactions used when a car was rented under the username. So much so that the people who reached him rented a car as soon as they accessed the account.
After realizing this, the user started to follow the rented vehicles by logging into his account on the platform. The vehicles were actually rented in Istanbul on behalf of the user living in a different city. Upon reaching the platform, the user applied to the law enforcement upon the suggestion of the platform, and took the road to the police station for a complaint.
The user saw that the rental was terminated and the signal was cut off due to the remote intervention of the rented vehicle on the way to the police station. Vehicle used for hours tens of kilometers had been built. On top of that, the people who rented the vehicle had an accident with the vehicle.
