“The traffic light is a real chaos coalition”
The excitement of Transport Minister Andreas Scheuer: The situation in the Bundestag!
“The traffic light coalition started as a self-proclaimed coalition of progress, last week they were an idle coalition in matters of Corona and now it is a real chaos coalition,” says Scheuer angrily. “When I look at it like that, I have to say: This is already a traffic light with an absolute blackout.”
The traffic light corona plan will go to the Bundestag on Thursday, and the Federal Council will decide on it on Friday. But Scheuer attests to the draft law: “It will not result in us being able to contain the corona pandemic in a national effort.”
Counterattack by Hans-Ulrich Jörges, he attested Scheuer still “election campaign mode”.
“I’m not in ‘campaign mode’, I’m in ‘concern mode’,” replied Scheuer.
Scheuer called the draft law of the traffic light “piecemeal” – technically it is undisputed: “Why should I take away tools to fight the corona pandemic when I’ve already decided and replace them with a piecemeal that leads to the creation of a patchwork quilt and that uncertainty arises. “
Scheuer very clearly: “I don’t want a lockdown, we all have to fight against that.”
“2G is chicane!”
“2G is spreading in Germany like an oil spill on the sea. Only those who have been vaccinated and those who have recovered should be allowed to participate in a fun life, ”said Hans-Ulrich Jörges on Wednesday. “This applies to restaurants, theaters, discos, bars and, in some cases, even to soccer fields. Those who are only tested remain excluded. ”
▶ ︎ Jörges assessment: 2G applies to everything that is fun. 3G only applies to the workplace, on the train or bus and on domestic connections. Jörges asks: “Why does 3G not apply in general, also in restaurants, cinemas and discos?”
According to Jörges, it could not be due to any other hazard. “Because people who have been vaccinated can certainly be infected, their incidence is around 60. Those tested with negative results on a daily basis are therefore less dangerous than people who were vaccinated months ago.”
For Jörges, the “real and only reason to differentiate between 2G and 3G” is that unvaccinated people should be forced to vaccinate by denying them participation in everything that is fun in life. “Apart from work and shopping, they have nothing left. 2G is pure chicane! I think: unconstitutional. “
“No more lockdown for restaurants and hotels!”
“Everything must now be done to prevent a new lockdown for the catering and hotel industry,” demands DEHOGA boss Ingrid Hartges.
▶ ︎ Hartges quoted a recent survey of 7,000 participants: “For the last 14 days we have seen an average decline in sales of minus 28 percent. Events have been canceled in abundance. On average, half of the booked Christmas parties, events and overnight stays have been canceled in the last 14 days. “
Hartges said of 2G Plus regulations in gastronomy: “It’s kind of like a lockdown.”
She called on politicians to focus more on the unvaccinated and not to burden the vaccinated with further rules – for example 2G Plus.
“When will there finally be a nationwide cell phone network?”

“Merkel’s phone call with Lukashenko snubs and divides the EU.”
BILD Politics boss Jan Schäfer was annoyed by Merkel’s call to Belarus ruler Lukashenko. “On the day after the 50-minute phone call, there is shock and indignation in Warsaw, Riga and Vilnius – Belarus’ three EU neighbors – at the move by the German Chancellor,” said Schäfer.
The three countries are angry that Merkel telephoned another “gangster” Lukashenko over their heads at the request of the “gangster” Putin.
“Numerous states – including the USA – have tried to keep Merkel from talking to the Belarusian dictator,” says Schäfer, annoyed. “Merkel’s call undermines all European efforts to deal with the crisis in Belarus.”
He demands: “What is needed now is a united European approach and not solo efforts by the Chancellor.”
