Cryptocurrencies continue to increase in popularity in every aspect of our lives. A survey conducted in Australia revealed that crypto users will choose crypto-themed gifts for Christmas this year.
Crypto wallet and service provider Crypto.com recently surveyed nearly 2,020 Australian citizens aged 18-59 in Australia.
26% of those who have used cryptocurrencies in the last 1 year said they are considering giving some crypto money as a gift or receiving a crypto-related gift at Christmas.
Of those considering buying crypto-related gifts, 53% stated that they would consider buying cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin or Ethereum for Christmas, while 43% stated that they would prefer crypto-themed gifts such as crypto-themed socks and hoodies.
Of those surveyed, 42% said they would buy cryptocurrency coupons, while 35% said they would buy crypto-related books.
NFTs, one of the popular interests of recent times, are also among the Christmas gifts. About one-third of the participants stated that they are considering giving an NFT as a gift.
“Australians are very keen on adopting cryptocurrencies and integrating their use into everyday spending,” said Karl Mohan, Managing Director of Crypto.com Asia-Pacific.
