Will SEC Approve Spot Ethereum ETFs: 60 Percent Chance Given

According to Bloomberg Intelligence analyst James Seyffart, there is a 60% chance the SEC will approve spot Ethereum ETFs.

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) this week delayed applications filed by BlackRock and Grayscale for a spot Ethereum ETF.

Seyffart says date to consider for spot Ethereum ETFs May 23 said that. The SEC will decide on the applications made by Ark/21Shares and VanEck by this date. The SEC still has this history you can postpone Stating that Seyffart said:

“Unless the SEC finds a way to reverse or delay this entire process and want everyone to enter the market at the same time, it will probably do so on May 23.”

Seyffart said that if spot Ethereum ETFs are not approved by this date, the process will be delayed. It may extend to 2025 he thinks.
