Berlin On the last day of its session before the summer break, the Bundestag passed the amendment to the LNG Acceleration Act. This Friday he made a significant contribution to the fact that the port of Mukran on the island of Rügen can become one of the focal points of German gas supply.

The Federal Government is convinced that this will further increase security of supply. It is also a milestone for Deutsche ReGas, the company that plans to operate two floating LNG terminals in Mukran, known as Floating Storage and Regasification Units (FSRU).
