According to the Russian account, the missile salvos are aimed at command centers of the Ukrainian armed forces, communications facilities and the country’s energy infrastructure. But videos also show explosions in downtown Kyiv, parks and even a playground were hit. SPD foreign politician Nils Schmid describes the Russian actions as “state terrorism”. Russia is about spreading terror with indiscriminate attacks, “because the army can’t get any further with normal military means”.

The deputy leader of the Greens, Agnieszka Brugger, spoke of “the most terrible war crimes” and called for everything to be done “to quickly strengthen the area of ​​​​air defense”.
