When Will Ripple – SEC Litigation End? Legal Expert Announced!

Jeremy Hogan, a Lawyer who has been following the case closely, believes the Ripple-SEC lawsuit will likely conclude by April 2022. Responding to an XRP user who asked his honest and realistic opinion on when the Ripple case will conclude, the lawyer said that the chances of the case being extended until after the summer are quite low.

Jeremy Hogan, who also served as the US legal counsel for the XRP2 project, said that his best guess for the resolution of the case is April, and at worst, the case will be resolved in the summer. Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse also commented on the course of the case earlier and stated that he hopes the case will be resolved by 2022.

Garlinghouse spoke about the progress of the case in an interview with CNBC in late November. The CEO, who claims that Ripple has made significant progress in its legal battle with the US Securities and Exchange Commission; “We are making pretty good progress despite a slow judicial process,” he commented.

In December 2020, the SEC claimed that Ripple and its executives had sold $1.3 billion worth of XRP in an unregistered security offering, after which the parties got into a major legal battle.
