The company has not announced when this WhatsApp feature will be officially available. However, WABetaInfo reported that both iOS and Android users can try the beta version of the technology. It recently launched its first one. The second one has been available since November 17. Introduced the in-app assistant. The update will then place AI-powered conversations directly in the Chats tab for quick access.
How to use WhatsApp’s artificial intelligence assistant?
Interested Android owners must first join the Google Play Beta Program. Then, they need to install the WhatsApp Beta application on their devices. Unfortunately, WhatsApp Beta on iOS is closed. Android users should download the application and grant the necessary permissions, then start the application. Then they just need to tap the green chat icon in the bottom right corner. They can then select the new AI chat and start the conversation.
On the next page you will see each contact currently available. For now you need to choose the basic Meta AI. There, some discussion topics will be suggested to start topics like which are the most popular shows on Netflix. The assistant will respond by making suggestions while also linking to its source.
Once you’re done, you can find your AI chats in the main Chat tab of your WhatsApp account on your mobile device. You can even continue chatting with people on WhatsApp for desktop. You can easily find each one in the menu on the left, along with the rest of your chat rooms.
